Responsibilities:
- Installs various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum, according to customer specifications and projects requirements.
- Evaluates project sites, measures boundaries, and identifies potential obstacles or challenges that may affect fence installation. Clears the area and prepare the sites for installation.
- Loads and unloads fencing materials and equipment, ensuring their safe transportation to the installation site.
- Utilizes appropriate tools and techniques to measure, cut, shape, and install fencing material accurately.
- Conducts inspections during and after installation to ensure fences meet required standards, regulations, and customer expectations. Makes necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Follows safety protocols and adheres to industry best practices to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during fence installation. Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use a tape measure as needed.
